| This work prop oses the univ ariate and multiv ariate generalisations of the follo wing distributions: the Birn baum-Saunders, the three parameter Birn baum-Saunders and the sinh-normal of spherical type. Similarly , when the stochastic represen tation of a spherical random vector is assumed, we prop ose alternativ e de nitions for the above- men tioned distributions including the log-elliptical distribution. We emphasize that all the distributions here deriv ed belong to the family of the spherical distributions. | |
