We consider a parallel ber-reinforced periodic elastic composite which presentsan imperfect contact of spring type between the ber and the matrix. Also,we consider that the phases are transversally-isotropic. We make use of the elliptic integral of Cauchy type for solving the local problems that arise from Asymptotic Homogenization Method. Several general conditions are assumed, which include that the bers are disposed in an arbitrary manner in the local cell, that all bers present imperfect contact with dierent constants of imperfection and that their cross sections are smooth closed arbitrary curves. We nd thatthere is an innite number of solutions for these problems and also we nd relations between these solutions and the efective coeficients of the composite. Finally, we obtain analytic formulae for the circular inclusions case and we show some numerical examples. | |
